Two's a Charm!

Hello out there in blogland, it's Elin speaking.
I was trying to make a project this week, where I wanted the charm to be in focus.
I ended up with two things: A box for my buttons and a chocolate gift box. Since I found it too hard to chose wich one to showcase here on the blog, I thought why not show you both! :-)
Toffee is a really popular gift here in Norway, so I wrapped it in this gorgeus paper from Riddersholm Design's Fleamarket collection; "Luggage". I placed the roses on cheese cloth, and the sweet butterfly charm is attached with some "Sky Blue" seam binding.
My box to store my buttons is decorated with another Riddersholm Design paper: "Blue Sky" from the Huntington Garden collection. As always, I have used some white Gesso on the edges!
On my box I placed some buttons to illustrate what's inside, and what charm could be more suitable then this pair of decorative scissors? I also used some shabby seam binding; this lovely lilac colour is called English Lavender.
And before I let you go, I just have to highlight one of the newest products at the Live & Love Crafts Store; these gorgeus Rolled Roses from Kort og Godt are to die for! So easy to use and to combine with other flowers. I have used the cream coloured ones here, and they match the ivory toned roses perfectly! Well; that's enough advertising for today, don't ya' think?! ;)
Thank you for stopping by our blog; I hope you find some inspiration and temptations!

With Love,
