Silent Night in the forest- Pion Design.

Hi, hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday Morning! Elizabeth here, and I want to show you what I made with the gorgeous  new Silent Night Collection from Pion Design. I hope you have been visiting us this week, if not scroll down to see all the gorgeous creations the rest of the DT has made throughout the week.

Here's my card:
I used the lovely blue- tone Guardian Angels 6x6 papers from Pion Design's Silent Night Collection.
I used Cheese Cloth under the image. The flowers are Prima Snowdrops and I used the Light blue Jute RibbonThe image is a Magnolia- background stamp, I colored it with Distress ink pads. I embossed the edges and snow on the image, and added Tim Holtz crackle paint in the Cheesecloth and on the Prima Snowdrops flowers to create the illusion of snow.

I used one of my favorite for all seasons: the Vintage Pearl Pins by Maya Road, I also used the Crystal Drops and the sweet Santa's Sled Charm from Bildmålarna.

The beautiful papers are all I need to decorate the inside.

If you haven't already done so, please pop over to the store and check out all the New Products.
Please keep in mind that the Special Offer of 15% off this weekend ends tonight at midnight GMT.

Please check back tomorrow for a new challenge here at the LLC blog!

Fairytale of Winter...

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here to post my Silent Night project. If you saw my post yesterday, you know I have some new Maya Road trims in stock, and today I finally got to have a little play with one of them. :-)

Here I've used the Organza Rose Trim in the colour sand to create a frame around the image.
The image is one of the beautiful vintage images from Pion Design's "Fairytale of Winter". The paper  used is "Winter", from the Silent Night 12x12 Collection.

The flags are from the Magnolia Cloud & Flags Die Cut Set and were cut from Guardian Angels 6x6, and the letters, "Joy" are from  Nativity Scene 6x6. I attched the flags to a string of Jute Twine, and used Wooden Mini Clothespins to attach the string to the card. The pins were painted white with Gesso, which I also used to tone down the blue colour of the berries a bit. I also used some Cheese Cloth and two lovely Poppies as well as one Pearl Center from Maya Road. The pearls used for the corners are from Melissa Frances.

That's it from me today - please stop by to see Elizabeth's lovely project tomorrow!
Hugz,
Sandy

Card with Pion Design

Hello Friends,
Karita here today with a new card to share with you.

We have a Silent Night week going on here at the blog. And here´s my card made with one of those gorgeous papers from Pion Design.
This time I used a Vintage image from Pion Design´s Fairytale Of Winter. Beautiful images don´t you think :) I also used "Snowflakes" from the 12x12 collection, small borders from the 6x6 collection and "Tags".
I have inked all edges with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain and I´ve also used my sewing machine.
Have you already seen these beautiful Poppies? I just had to use few of those and of course the white ones ;) I also used this Shabby Chic Tulle Rose from Magnolia. As much as I love pearls, I always want to see them on my cards and this time I used some Pearl Spray.
Of course I had to use my favourite product - white jute ribbon! :) There's also some "Lace Vanille" and Vintage Scalloped Lace Trim

Okay, I think that was all from me now.
I´m wishing you a lovely weekend and take care! :)

Hugs, Karita

Romantic Pion Winter

Hello lovely readers, it's Thursday again and Elin speaking.
This week we're playing with Pion Design's latest collection: Silent Night
Every scrapper's dream I believe, these gorgeus papers <3
I made a paperbag card (shock!):
Distress Tea Dye, Gesso + Pion Design's Angel's Choir do wonders on a brown paper bag, don't they?!
I also used the backside of Pion's Snowflake sheet to make a frame around this dreamy picture from the Tags sheet in the same collection.
For decorations I used Cheese Cloth underneath the cute Petal Pink Hortensia, combined with roses and an angel to bring out the Christmas feeling. You can find similar angels, from Melissa Frances here
I also had a chance to test our new and lovley Pearl String! The color I used here is cream and it goes well with just about any other color, and I love the exclusive feeling it creates.
Inside my card I made a tag, which is decorated with left overs from the papers used on the card, and I also had to use some more Tags! I really love these papers with tags, letters and pictures.
They're easy to use, and easy to combine with the rest of Pion's wonderful collection.
That's it from me this time, now I'm off to play with next month's challenge project ;)
Stay tuned for more details; October 1st is the date!

With Love,

Winter Tilda

Hi my lovelies, Becky here, how's your week going? This week we're showing you the Silent Night Collection from Pion Design.

I've coloured Winter Tilda with my distress markers, and added subtle sparkle with Glamour Dust. The gorgeous papers are form Pion's Silent Night Collection, the inside is part of the 6 x 6 Snowflakes as are the Tilda Tickets. The other paper are both sides of Snowfall 12 x 12. The bazzill backing card and the tickets have been distressed with Walnut Stain, the DP has been distressed with a Tim Holtz Distresser Tool and then machine sewn.

Along the centre I've put Tulle Pleat Trim with Ash Rose Shabby Seam Binding and popped some Organza Roses Trim along the top. The corrugated card is from my stash.

The flowers are White PoppiesCream Rolled RosesCream Chrysanthemums and roses from WOC. The pearls are Cream Melissa Frances Pearls.

That's it from me, make sure to pop back tomorrow for some more amazing inspiration from Elin.

Hugs,

Becky x

Two from Tina & -Merry Monday- NEWS

Good Morning Everyone,
Sandy here, doing Tina's Weekly Inspirational Post.

This week we'll be showcasing Christmas Projects made with Pion Design's new gorgeous Christmas Collection "Silent Night", available in both 6x6 and 12x12.

...and this is Tina's stunning card:
This time Tina went with a frill free layout, and frankly I don't blame here; these papers are so beautiful that you don't really want to cover them up with too many embellishments or layers.
The paper Tina used here is Guardian Angels 6x6 and the image is from the Collage Sheet 12x12.
Tina also used some Cheese Cloth and a Prima Barley Fabric Flower.

You might recall from last week's post that Tina usually combines her weekly LLC Project with her DT Project for the Everybody Art Challenge. However, when the two have very different themes we're lucky enough to see two different projects from Tina. :-)

The second project is this beautifully decorated box of matches.
Also here the paper used is from Guardian Angels 6x6.

Other materials used:
Poppies
Chrysanthemum, Kort og Godt
Autumn Leaves "Splendor", Prima
Tea Party Doily

What a great Autumn project, isn't it?!
The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are declining, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere, but this is a great time to get cozy at home and do some crafting!
There are loads of new products available at the Store, amongst those these Metal Corners in antique silver, brass and cupper finish.
These vintage metal ornaments are also some of the new additions:
And there are loads of new wooden embellishments from Prima:
Tickets, Clocks, Doors, Buttons, Envelopes, Typewriters...

Last week I didn't do a Merry Monday as the number of participants the previous week was very low, but I thought I'd give it another shot this week. If you would like to win the below set "Craftsman" of tickets and clocks from Prima, please enter the Merry Monday Draw on the LLC Facebook Page.

Please note that the draw is in a separate tab in the form of an application:
Good Luck - the draw closes this Thursday evening 8 PM GMT.

Hugz,
Tina & Sandy

Gnomes Couple

Hi everyone, Becky here today with my inspirational card for using Vilda Stamps.

I've coloured Gnomes Couple in with my distress markers, aren't the just sooooo cute?? I've added Crystal Glamour Dust to her heart and Gold Glamour Dust to her bell. For the first time ever I've made a gatefold card, I thought they'd just look so cute on either side. I didn't have big enough sheets of card, so I used two sheets, cut half off each one and then glued the biggest sides together. The papers are Guardian Angels 6x6 from Pion Design, the edges have all been distressed with Walnut Stain.

For the inside I used the top left design off the sheet, it has the perfect space for inside. I wanted the front of the card to look like a full sheet, so I fastened some Storm Clouds Shabby Seam Binding with White Vintage Pearl Brads and used it to tie a bow and bring both sides together.

I've used Wood Alphabet Tiles to spell 'JOY', and I've added Snow Tex to them, and other places haphazardly around the card. The pearls are White Melissa Frances Pearls. For my floral display I've used a gorgeous pin which will be available here, a Columbia Blue Hortensia, a White Magnolia Shabby Chic Dahlia Tinsel, some White PoppiesWhite Chrysanthemums and White Rolled Roses.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend, I'm going to get my markers out, I've hardly coloured for about two weeks as I had so many cards to assemble and schedule for while I was away. I took colouring things for the kids, but not me, I watched Grace so enviously, lol.

Hugs,

Becky x

Textures...

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here with yet another Christmas card. :-)
I used Vilda Stamp's Gingerbread House and went kind of wild with the textures. :-D
The large puzzle piece I painted with Walnut Stain Distress Crackle Paint. Then I used Snow-Tex for the roof and around the windows and some Flowersoft in front of the house, and behind it I tucked some Jute Fabric.
I also used a round Doily and some white Melissa Frances Pom Pom Trim.

The papers are Forever Santa 6x6 No. 4 and Forever Santa 6x6 No.1 from Inkido.
Also the beautiful sentiment stamp, Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) is from Vilda.
With this one, I think I'm going to make my German relatives happy this Christmas :-)
I stamped it on to a Magnolia Fairytale Tag and attached it to an Idea-ology Memo Pin.
The rose and red berries are from stash, and the leaf is from the Leaf & Swirl Doohickey Set. The flowers on the right hand side are Red Poppies and a cream coloured Hortensia. Finally the brown Vintage Pearl Pins are from Maya Road.

Thanks for stopping by - enjoy the rest of your evening/day!
Please stop by tomorrow to see Becky's lovely card.
More gnomes to the people!!! :-D

Sandy

Bearded Gnome

Hello Live & Love Crafts Friends,
Karita here with you and today I´m going to share some Christmas spirit with you ;)
The stamp that I´ve used is Bearded Gnome from Vilda Stamps. The paper I used is Winter 12x12 from Pion Design's Silent Night collection. The Tags are from the same Silent Night collection.
Isn´t this image just adorable?!?!? :) I´ve coloured him with Distress Ink refills.
As you can see I´ve used one of my favourite products, White Jute Ribbon :) I also used some Natural Jute Twine and these cute Silver Jingle Bells. And I played with White Gesso again :)
There`s also some Jute Fabric
I think it fits so perfectly on these "old fashioned" Christmas cards :) And the fence is made with the Magnolia DooHickey Die - Lovely Fence.

Thank you for stopping by - I'm wishing you all an inspiring weekend :)
Hugs, Karita

Carpe Diem with a Cuppa

Hello lovely readers, Elin here :)
I'm currently going trough a phase where I'm constanly on the lookout for new craft ideas, and I came across this cute little tea bag! I love cheering up my friends in their everyday life and this bag is made for that purpose:
I found a template/tutorial here and folded away.
Instead of giving away cookies as suggested in the tutorial, I enclosed some homemade sugar cubes in a cellophane bag on the inside.
The gorgeous sentiment "Carpe Diem" is from Vilda Stamps: Seize the day with a cup of tea :)
The Vintage Pearl Brads are from Creative Charms.
I made a bow tie with my absolute favourite in the Live and Love Crafts Store: Shabby Seam Binding!
This time I used Sky Blue and combined it with some "Shine Gold" Twine Cording from Maya Road.
As always there is a hint of Cheese Cloth in my project, I believe that is one of my trademarks!
Well that's it for now...don't forget that there's still plenty of time left to join the September challenge!

With Love,
