Frosty The Snowman

Hi everyone, Becky with you today, and my Christmas song is 'Frosty The Snowman'.

I couldn't resist using the papers from the new Maja Design collection, Vintage Frost Basics. I have distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool and then some Walnut Stain.

I have coloured the Magnolia Snowman with Distress Reinkers, and added shabby blue frantage around him, and added sparkle to his snowflake with glamour dust.

I have added a mini paper bag behind the image to pop a little tag, I think this is a cute way to add an extra ribbon (or two) to your card.

Thanks for looking,

Hugs,

Becky xx

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Morning Everyone,

Tracy HERE to kick off this week's theme set by Sandy for this week which is "Inspired by a Christmas Song".  I have been dying to use the image and matching papers from MayaDesign Vintage Frost Basics, the diecut sheet is just sooooogorgeous.  The song I have chosen to be inspired by is "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas".  Love this christmas song and I think the children in the image surround by snow falling is perfect.

The image, tag and stamps were cut from Vintage Frost Basics Diecut Sheet and I have used  the 12x12  20th December, this paper also looks like the snow is falling. The sheet with the minature children on came from the 6x6 paper pad, so glad I have both.  I have used walnut stain ink to distress the edges.

I have used a corner from the Prima Ceiling Ornamental resin pack and added to the right hand corner.  Lots of gorgeous flowers with a touch of gesso and diamond dust and string pearls added to the top.  I also added in a pine cone, cut in half and positioned in two places.

And have you seen the vintage findings brooches in store. Wow, just look at centre of my large snowflake. Beautiful.

Hugs Tracy x

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is an aaaaaamazing scrapper from Russia. Her name is Olga and immediately when I saw her work on Instagram, I knew I had to invite her to guest design for us. I'm so thrilled she accepted! :-)

Here’s a little on Olga:
Hi all! My name is Olga; I also go by the name Pastila on the net. I have been scrapping for four years and I’m a happy mom of a little princess. Scrapbooking for me is everyday work: I’m a member of several design teams; I create inspiration projects and articles for magazines, design scrapbooking papers and materials. I’m also the author of the first book in Russian on the shabby chic style. Every month I teach classes in different cities in Russia. Scrapbooking is my life! My favourite styles are shabby chic and... grunge. :) I’d love for you to stop by my blog and if you like what you see, to become a follower.

We appreciate December is a very busy month, but you have the whole month to get your entry in. The challenge will close at midnight on New Year's Eve.

Lastly; from all of us to you:
