Mommy's Summer Girl

This week we are celebrating Summer here at LLC.

And today I am celebrating my babygirl ♥

Can't belive this little angel is turning 2 years today, time flies!!
So whilst I was "crying my eyes out" over the fact that my baby ain't a baby anymore, I made a layout with a picture of her taken when she was just one month old:

 Here is my Summer girl with loads of lovely lilac and purple summer flowers and colors.

I'm warning you, this in gonna be a very picture-heavy post... :-)

I feel I need to show all the goodies I have used for this LO, and lucky you; most of them can be found in Sandra's wonderful store HERE.

 Of course I have to show you a closeup of my baby, and if you didn't guess it already, her name is Maja.
I have a God-sent mother-in-law who takes loads of great pictures of my girls, so I should really do LO's more often. :)

 Look at these gorgeous flowers and berries, don't you just LOVE the poppies and the metal roses?!!

 I added the film strip ribbon to make it a bit less "sugar sweet". I tend to add some "hard" elements to my creations, just to break it up a bit.

 Now this one I'm kinda' proud of; I made a bird's nest! I have used  Jute Fabric as base and Jute Twine, glue and pearls. Cute or what?!!!

The butterfly is from Maja Design's last collection : Vintage Spring Basic. The base on my LO and the punched panel is from the same collection. I have also used a few chipboards here, to which I of course added a hint of frantage ;)

 The sentiment was printed on my computer and roghly translated it means:

"Surely you're small in a great big world
but to some, you're the largest in this world
The first meeting with a newborn child
leaves its marks on the heart"

 Here is my grand flower composition HAHA! I actually had to restrain myself, as I found that almost every single thing I have from LLC was fitting into my LO!
