Baby Book Card

Well hello there!
 It's Elin, and I'm the one taking the credit for all the lovely book cards this week...
Well that is not entirely true, since the lovely girls in LLC's DT are sooo talented when it comes to crafting! But I did set the challenge for them, to make a book card using this tutorial.
I chose this tutorial first of all because I myself love a good challenge, but also cause I wanted to see what my teammates would come up with ;)  And MAN, am I pleased!
 Loads of gorgeous posts this week, and more to come...

Time to show off my result from the challenge, and as everyone else has said earlier in this week;
DANGER! Picture-Heavy post coming through... :-)

 I have chosen to make a book card for a baby who's about to enter this world.
I have used corrugated cardboard as base for my book, painted it white with gesso to give it a shabby look. Thanks to Sandra I had loads of lovely materials to decorate with and the babies from Pion Design are just soooo cute.
The book from the side, closed with white shabby seambinding. I have used papers from Pion Design on my book, this time from the Studio of Memories collection.

 And here is the inside, where I chose to do something new: I wanted it to contain a necklace for the little one. So the Love Hanger has once again gotten a new chore.

I hope you like what you see, cause here come the details!
And as Becky said yesterday: Collage has become my best friend, as it gives me the chance to bring on ever more lovely pictures of the good stuff ;)

That's it from me today, but stay tuned! Tomorrow it a new day with a new book, so please come back and check out  Karita's creation :)
