Traditional Red...and some CHARMING News

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!
It's Sandy here with my take on "Christmas Leftovers". Since Valentine's is literally just around the corner, I thought I'd make use of some of my reddish scrap pieces from Maja Design's "It's Christmas Time" Collection, so this is what I made:

The bottom layer, Garlands, is my absolute favourite from this collection; I looooove papers with old script/fonts. I've also used the same paper for the larger square and the smaller square is the backside from Christmas Market. The circle placed on top of the paper doily was cut from I believe
The beautiful white lace is Fleurs des Jardins, and at the bottom I attached a piece of Maya Road's bourdeaux coloured Organza Roses Trim.

The sentiment "A gift from the heart" is from Magnolia, and the image, in case you were wondering, is from Sweet Pea Stamps and is called "Red Hearts"illustrated by Ching-Chou Kuik. Around the image, I placed some cream coloured pearl string. I tried to shape the string as a heart, but I'm not sure how successful I've been. LOL I used my glue gun for the purpose and also fastened the string with a Vintage Pearl Brad.

In the middle of the rose wreath, I placed a Rolled Rose from Kort & Godt.

Now some exciting news that I've been dying to tell ya...
Did you notice the beautiful charm, the heart with wings that I've used on my card???

Well, this is just one of many many many new charms that I'll be adding to the store over the coming days.
All in all, there are over 120 new charms, many rare and unique ones that you won't find at any other retail store. As there are so many, it'll take me a wee bit of time to get them all up on the website, but I have made sure that I entered all the Valentine's charms first - here are some further examples:

You'll find all the new charms in the News/Restocked Category.

I have also just created a new category, Valentine's, where I have listed all products suitable for Valentine's projects.

Thanks for stopping by today - hope to see you again tomorrow, when our new DT Member Louise will be doing her first weekly inspirational post on the theme "Christmas Leftovers".
This is Louise's card for our January challenge "Something Old".
I can't wait to see what she's got to share with us tomorrow!

Hugz,
Sandy
