Challenge #7 Something Old

Happy New Year!!!
Welcome to a new crafty year and our first challenge for 2013.

I can assure you that the LLC DT members and myself adore all new beautiful crafts products that are being released as much as you do. However, as you probably know by now, we also like the old style, the vintage style. So that's why we decided to go with a theme that's opposite to what many other challenge blogs will do now in January. :-)

It's up to you how you interpret the theme. You could use old stamps, or old papers and embellishments from your stash, or you could use your brand spanking new stash and make a project that's old-fashioned or simply put vintage! Please just remember to let us know in your blog post what the old ingredient in your projects is.

The randomly drawn winner from the December challenge "Anything but a card" is....

Congrats Kerry, please contact me, Sandy, to claim your prize:
...and check out Kerry's Hot Air Balloon:

Now this is not a project one sees every day in blog land!!!

It's with a bit of saddness I'm writing this post as this is DT Member Elizabeth's last project for LLC. But as always, she's created something fabulous and I think you'll all agree with me that she is going out in BIG style.

ELIZABETH - OLD FASHIONED CALENDAR

On a brighter note; we've got two new ladies joining us as permanent DT Members this year.
A warm welcome to Tracy aka "the embellishment queen" and Louise, who I sometimes like to think of  as "the shabby chic princess". :-)

We had a great turn out for our November challenge "Christmas", so it was far from easy for the DT to chose a GDT among all 150 beautiful entries, but the lady who earned this spot with her gorgeous festive card, is the sweet Yulis from Indonesia.

GDT YULIS - OLD STAMPS

Yulis, who is a big Magnolia fan, has used some of her old Magnolia stamps, amongst those Romantic Window for this Anniversary Card.

The  DT's "free choice" of GDT this time fell upon a very talented vintage scrapper from Norway:
LIN MONIKA
- PICTURE OF OLD SHOES

Lin Monika has cleverly combined old and new in this adorable baby card; the old ingredient is the picture she's taken of her dad's first pair of shoes!

Now we hand it over to you: show us your "old", get creative & have fun!!!
