First things first;
The winner from the 1st Window last Saturday has still not claimed her prize, the roses from KOG, so Denise of Inky Fingers & Sticky Thumbs, if you're reading this, please get in touch ASAP as I'd hate having to draw another winner.
The randomly drawn winner for Window #6 is Karina of Creawitch.
...and this is the comment she left on DT Member Elin's gift box:
"What a gorgeous gift box. This makes each gift so special. Love what you did. And the pins are a great addition. Hugs, Karina"
Thanks Karina, please contact me with your address so I can have the Memo Pins sent off to you!
I don't know about you, but I'm a great fan of Ranger. To start off with, I'd be completely lost without their distress ink pads, but they have so many more cool products. I'm especially fond of their Idea-ology range of products and today's candy is one of my favourites from this range, the filmstrip ribbon.
For your chance of winning, please do the following:
1) Become a follower of this blog if you're not already
2) Post our Advent Blinkie in your Blog Sidebar. The html code can be found here.
3) Leave a comment on the blog post with your thoughts on the project.
Today I have got a shaker box card to share with you:
The gorgeous image is "Winter Watcher" from Sweet Pea Stamps. I framed the shaker box with two wooden doors from Prima and on top Maya Road's Organza Roses Trim and at the bottom a piece of the Oyster Cream Rhinestones Lace. The material inside the box are silver micro pearls and Beadazzles. I also used some Silver Liquid Pearls on the sky parts of the image.
The paper (not that you can see much of it, LOL) is from the Nativity Scene from Pion Design's Silent Night 6x6 Collection. I used the snowflake border from the Borders sheet underneath the film strip ribbon and the letters are from the Letters sheet, also by Pion Design but from the "Grandma's School Book Collection". "Jul" is Swedish for "Christmas".
As the doors are so large and decorative themselves, I just added a few flowers on each side.The flower displays are made up of white Shabby Chic Tulle Roses and some blue Vintage Berries from Magnolia, white Poppies and a couple of roses from WOC. The bows are LLC's "Sky Blue" Shabby Seam Binding.
That's it from me today. Please join us again tomorrow for a spectacular project by Elizabeth!
Hugz,
Sandy
