Cool Blues....

Morning Everyone,

Today at LLC Sandy is challenging us with cool/cold colours and as you are all probably aware blue is my favourite colour, although I seem to have done a lot of pink lately..... I must be ill, lol.

I have once again reached for the gorgeous Pion Design Paris Flea Market collection and the image is from the same collection, Elegant Ladies sheet.

The beautiful lace is called Éliane.

I have added 30mm wild rose with white berries and a poppy.

I have added a vintage metal frame and cut 80 out of the borders die sheet.

Here's the beautiful image.  I added a metal corner to the bottom of the image.

I cut butterflies from the sheet and added a dashing of gesso.  A little heart clip was added to the right.

I added the butterfly border and used the butterfly 2 pcs die set to cut butterflies from the fabric paper and added a pen nib to the largest butterfly.

Have a good week.

Hugs Tracy x

By The Eiffel Tower

Hello lovelies............guess what its the weekend yayyyyyyyyy. You know what that means dont you? ...........it means you have to put up with me, Vicky today.
Now as you know Sandy set us girlies the task this week to use the new Pion 'Paris Flea Market' papers............oh my its a tough tough job ;-)
Of course I've used these papers already but how can you wait to use them when they are this gorgeous.........seriously this may be my favourite collection by Pion.........now that's saying something.......
Ok here is my wee creation............
I have had this idea to stand a Tilda stamp next to this Eiffel Tower since I first received these gorgeous papers...........I finally got around to it.
I rushed this last night after spending the day decorating & cutting wood & nailing wood panelling lol. I sat in my craft room still in my decorating clothes making this lol.

As you can see I have made a gift box, I had no plan...........not even a picture in my head of what I wanted it to look like which is a first tbh. It all just sort of happened & thankfully came together & worked..........phew!!!
I lurve these postcards, I distressed the edges & inked them with Pumice Stone distress ink. I also attached a little 'Paris' Stamp cut from the same collection.
All links will be at the bottom of the post.

I used my Martha Stewart PATP set for the edging on the top & bottom of the box.

This gorgeous Tilda is from the Magnolia Pink Ribbon Trio Collection to raise money for Breast Cancer. I coloured her with Distress Inks refills & Distress Markers, then fussy cut her out.

At the top of the paper she is attached to I cut the sky off, shortened it a little, cut a fancy edge then layered it back on top using foam strips to give it a 3D sky effect.
I also attached a length of pearls along the bottom, some fencing, a lamp-post, butterfly cut from Pion papers & a resin corner.

There are more pics & info over on my blog.........

Well that's it form me I have more DIY to do on my conservatory today. Then tomorrow I have the whole family to cook for.......love it!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy your weekend lovelies & take care.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxxxxxxxx
