You didn't think....

...that I would let you leave without making any remarks about your 2 years on the team, did you Elin?

This video tells the story of how it all started and what kind of a person Elin is....
(and it also shows the camera shy me hiding behind a box LOL)

...and in this video you get to see most of Elin's projects for LLC...
So please sit back, enjoy and get inspired!

It's fine to watch this video in small format here on the blog, but if you would like to see the cards and projects larger, please watch the video HERE instead as the resolution is much better than here on the blog.

Hope you enjoyed!
Thanks so much for tuning in and remember to stop by and sign up to become a follower of Elin's blog...if you aren't already!

Thanks for the millions of small seconds....

And so the day has come... it's sad to write this post, as I know this will be my last post as a member of the talented Live and Love Crafts design team <3
As most of you know by now, I have decided to step down from the team.
I have been so lucky to see Live and Love Crafts grow from a tiny store with few selected items, to a gorgeous large store with LOADS of selected items ;) I have been so lucky to get to play with many of these items, and even though I'm leaving this team, I'll always come back for my LLC supplies!

It's been 2 great years, and I have really enjoyed to get to know the girls in the team.
Thank you girls, for great conversations and laughter, challenges and support!
<3 Love you all to pieces <3

A special thanks to Sandra, you are one amazing lady! I have had such an amazing time in your team, and I am so grateful for all your kindness and love!
You have made me a better scrapper with all your challenges and encouragement!
You have made me believe in myself and my crafts in a different way than I did before ;)

Awwwwww.... *sniffsniff* enough of this sadness!

Now on to the theme of the week: Script Papers! Easy peasy when I had the lovely Reprint papers in my drawer! And that's the papers I have used for my card this week:

A paper bag card with image from PionDesigns "A Day In May" collection.
Cherry blossoms from WOC and curly roses from K&G.

The text is printed from my computer, but the lyrics is inspired from one of the gorgeous Norwegian stamps made by K&G. It's kind of suitable for the fact that I'm saying my goodbye's today:

"Thanks for the smiles and good times.
Thanks for the millions of small seconds."

And with that, It's goodbye from me. Thank you to all the lovely  readers, for all your comments and great feedback on my projects! I hope to see some of you in my private blog <3

My element: Earth!

Today I'm showing off my element of choice, and as most of you know, I absolutely LOVE earth tones. So of course EARTH is my element when it comes to scrapping.

I have made a cute memory box for my niece, to contain pictures, gifts and memories from her childhood and baptism. The box I have used, contained shoes before it got recycled:

First I used Gesso on all the edges to cover up the real colour of the box (in this case black, so not the worst colour to work with!), then I chose the fabulous A Day in May papers from Pion Design again... God; I just love this collection :D The image is from Pion Design's Sweet baby collection.

I have used a chipboard circle along with gorgeous cherry blossoms and tulips from WOC.
The pearls are from Inkido and as you can see, I have used my own handwriting on this project!
Words like memories, dreams, care, smiles, joy, laughter and so on, to indicate what the box is for ;)

If you would like to try to decorate your own box, I have a tutorial on my blog on how to do this step by step. So please stop buy if you wanna' check it out HERE.

Wedding Lilies

Lilies are such gorgeous flowers, and with the right color tone, they fit perfectly on a wedding card!
Here I have used the two toned lilac lilies from WOC on my card:

It's spring and time for weddings, and I found this motif from PionDesign a perfect match to the gorgeous "A Day in May" papers. The gorgeous heart lace is new in the LLC store, it's from Maya Road and is named Mini Hearts. Perfect for such a romantic theme ;)

Two Princesses

This week we have a theme that might seem a bit off... or maybe a bit hard to create to?
Well at least that was my first thought, until I read the lyrics:

"You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean...
Come let me love you
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter..."

As I read this, I could not stop thinking about my most precious things in life: my children!
Oh how I love them to pieces, both of them <3 And that's why I chose to make two tags, one for each of my gorgeous girls. So here is my inspiration from Annie's Song:

I took a dive into my leftovers, so these tags are made with loads of gorgeous PionDesign and MajaDesign papers. I have used seambinding on the top and for my bow, and the laces are to be found in the LLC store. They are also from a "leftover" box, proving that you can use even tiny bits of laces for smaller projects ;)

PionDesign papers, K&G flowers and stamps, pearls from Inkido.

MajaDesign papers, flowers from K&G and WOC.
