Wine tag- Christmas with summer papers

Good Morning!

Hi, it's Elizabeth here. I want to show you a Christmas bottle-tag I made for this week's challenge over at the Midweek Magnolias.  I found a tutorial on Camillas blog.  Pink is quite an unusual color for a Christmas creation, but I think it works!

I used papers from Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basic Collection 1923 , 1903  and 1909. The Magnolia Doohickey's Swirl is from the Leaf and Swirl set.

The wine-tag has a pocket with a tag in it. Here's the tag. I made some dots on the trees and the image with White opal Liquid Pearls to create a "snowy" feel.
I also used some Tim Holtz Crackle paint, Picket Fence on the trees and some of the edges. I used my sewing machine and Vintage photo Distress ink on the edges. The Magnolia image is colored with Distress ink Pads.

The gorgeous little charm is the Praying Angel from Bildmålarna. The pins are the Trinklet mini heart pin and the Vintage Trinklet Heart Pin from Maya Road.  I also used a small piece of white Jute Twine.

On the top I stamped with a Kort og Godt stamp with Crackle paint to create some structure. The ribbon is the beautiful Ash Rose Shabby Seam Binding from the Live & Love Craft Store.

That's it from me today! Please check back tomorrow for Elin's Christmas creation.

I also want to remind you of our Monthly challenge. Maybe you can use our sketch to create this year's first Christmas card with your Summer papers?

Wishing you a creative and sunny Wednesday.
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,

Merry Monday #2

Good Evening,
Sandy here again with some news.

They're here and they're fab...
Now in stock: Christmas Papers from FabScraps!!!

Victorian Angel

Stars & Sparkle
Little Children

Also in stock; Snow-Tex, Diamond Dust and Liquid Applique.

Three great Christmas products that are used by crafters worldwide year after year.
Nevertheless; it's so difficult to find them all in one place. Personally I've never managed and it's been driving me mad for years, so I thought it was about time to change that. :-)

Quite a few more Christmas products have also arrived; I'll get to work now and hope to have had them all entered by noon tomorrow.

Unfortunately; I've still not heard from last week's Merry Monday Winner.
Please contact me by noon Thursday this week at the latest; otherwise I'll have to draw another winner.

As I was gone for four days last week I didn't get a chance to look into what 3rd party application can be used for candy sweepstakes on Facebook, so this week's candy will take place here on the blog instead. Feel free to let your friends know!

This is this week's prize:

5 yards of Maya Road's brand new sparkle silver twine cording
1 set of Silver Jingle Bells (18 pieces, 9.5mm diameter)
1 set of Maya Road Vintage Trinket Crystal Pins (5 Pins)
- 1 Bottle of "Diamond" Stickles Glitter Glue, Ranger
5 Christmas Charms from Bildmalarna:
- Christmas Sock
- Christmas Tree
- Praying Angel
- Lantern
- Snowflake

Please enter your details in Inlinkz below.
Please also note that you need to be a follower of the LLC Blog to be eligible for the prize.
This draw will close Thursday evening at 8PM (UK Time).
Hugz,
Sandy

Christmas with Summer Papers

Good Morning Everyone,
Sandy here, doing my weekly post on behalf of Tina.
How are you all getting on with your Christmas cards and projects?
Don't want to stress anyone out here, but as of today we've got 126 days left til Christmas...

As you might have seen yesterday; Christmas (and Halloween) Charms are now available at the Live & Love Crafts' Store. Christmas papers are also on their way in; the first ones will be available very soon, with more to come over the next weeks. However; nobody ever said one has to use Christmas papers to make Christmas cards and gifts, so this week the Design Team will show you how you can use your Summer papers for your Christmas projects.

Just check out this beautiful Vintage Card by Tina, made with Maja Design's "1899" from the Vintage Summer Basics collection and Pion Design's "Small Leaves" from the Studio of Memories collection.

The stunning charm is Grandpa's Pocket Watch from Reprint:

Please join us again tomorrow for another inspirational Christmas project with Summer Papers!
Hugs,

New Stock just in...

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here. Hope you're all well; I returned late last night and my feet still hurt from walking km after km in the exhibition halls, but it was great fun and I found many nice products that will be added to the store over the coming weeks. For now though, I wanted to let you know that there are already Halloween and Christmas Charms available at Live & Love Crafts. Here are some of them:
You can find them in the New Products section.
To make things easier to find, I've also created two new categories; Christmas & Halloween/Autumn, and I'll keep on adding new products to these when I have them in stock.

Apologies; there won't be a Merry Monday today as I'm expecting another delivery tomorrow with some products I wanted to include in the Merry Monday Prize.

See you tomorrow!
 Hugz, Sandy

P.S. Last week's Merry Monday Winner has not yet been in touch; should I not have heard from the winner by Wednesday, I'll draw a new Winner.

Sunday inspiration- Tilda with Peanut

Happy Sunday morning, bloggers!

Hi, it's Elizabeth with some inspiration for you today. For my brown project I made this tag card to show you. The card has only one side, with a pocket and a tag to write on.

I used papers from the lovely Maja Design Vintage Summer Basic collection (my favorite, as you might have noticed- I love every single one of those papers!!!) the papers used here is both sides of 1903
and 1909. I used Magnolia doohickey's dies: The swirl from the Leaf and Swirl set and the smallest of the Doily Flowers.Behind the image i used a peace of the brown Jute ribbon to add some texture.

Here is another favorite of mine: The Dark Chocolate Vintage Pearl Pins from Maya Road. I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink from Rangers: Vintage Photo.
Here's the tag behind the image. I colored the Magnolia stamp, Tilda with Peanut, with my copic markers. More details on the copics used on my blog. Hope you like it!
Wishing you a creative Sunday!

Hugs, Elizabeth
