Christmas Bread Board...

Hey hey hey lovely readers!

Elin here, bringing you some Christmas spirit in the beginning of September.
It's the warmest autumn here in Norway in ages, up to 22c midday and it's HOT... and not very X-massy to be honest. But the latest papers from Pion Design did something to me, and out of the blue I figured I'd recycle a bread board! I know I'm a bit twisted some times, but take a look at it.
It started out like this:
And when I got to mess it up with all the latest gorgeous stuff I got from LLC, this is what happend:
Wintertime in Swedish Lapland are the papers used, and the motive is from one of the sheets. All the gorgeous laces are to be found in Sandra's store, just click on one of the boxes at the end of this post, and it will take you right there.
Lovely flowers from Wild Orchild Crafts and Kort & Godt, and a few red blackberries. All of it splashed with Gesso to tone it down a bit. I have also added Gesso here and there on the whole project.
The cute Christmas three charm is also to be found in the store, and it's silver before gessoed ;)
And as you can see, I have added both a old book page and some cardboard behind the motive.
Here is a closeup of the cute motive I chose. I stamped here and there with some KOG stamps; it's a shame they only comes with  Norwegian text since they are sooo pretty :S
At last I finished off with a lace bow, and the gorgeous bullfinch is from Pion's papers as well. I added a 1 inch pebble on top of the bird, with glitter. Gotta' have glitter for Christmas!

Thank you for taking a peak today. Wishing you all a great Saturday!
