Hi Everyone,
Sandy here...hasn't it been a fabulous week here at the LLC Inspiration blog with all the gorgeous Book Cards made by the talented LLC DT?! Now it's time to show you mine.
Be warned though...I spent almost as long taking photos and editing them as making the card... LOL
I've said it before, but I'll say it again; I think Alma's Sewing Room is Pion Design's best collection ever!
I've been drooling all over the LLC DT members' creations made with Alma's, and despite the fact that I've now had the collection in stock for almost 2 weeks, it was not until today that I finally got to cut into the lovely papers myself.
Since this collection is all about sewing, I decided to continue that theme throughout the whole card.
Here's the inside...

Right side
This is a new trim I've just had delivered, and will add to the website ASAP.
The Dress Form and the Sewing Machine were both cut by my Cameo.
I added some Melissa Frances Pearls to the sewing machine and decorated the dress form with a rose from Maya Road's Organza Rose Trim, and a piece of Pearl String.
The mini sewing rolls were painted with gesso, and the sentiment was distressed with "Victorian Velvet".
Also the dress form clip is from Maya Road and has been painted with gesso.
This is the back...and now we've switched theme to butterflies. :-)
Ok, only one last pic, I promise...
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope you enjoyed all the pics (thanks for bearing with me), and here's again the link to Wenche's tutorial if you would like to make a Book Card of your own.
Hugz,
Sandy
P.S. I changed the dimensions as follows: 16cm height, 12cm width, and as I didn't want the frame too deep, I did 18cm (17 folds???).
