THINK PINK Candy

It affects old as well as young, women as well as men, rich as well as poor…
Cancer. The dreaded C word. 

Most of us probably personally know someone who has been affected.
In my case it was a very close relative who 9 years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through chemo and radiation and she also had the mastectomy. She fought hard and she won.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and here on the LLC Blog we wanted to do our part to increase awareness of the disease by creating in PINK. As most of you know, the Pink Ribbon is the international symbol of breast cancer awareness.

  I’ve also gathered pink products from the store and put together this candy, “Think Pink”.

Whilst "Think Pink" is about raising awareness and showing support for those affected, it's also a way to remember and to honour the memory of loved ones who lost the battle against cancer.
