My very first post in my first DT ever: So excited!
So I just have to say a big big THANK YOU for this opportunity Sandy.
Today I would like to show you a great way to use beautiful papers, not only on cards but on boxes as well: My latest passion is Tea Boxes. Such a great gift.
Here is my Maja Vintage Summer Basics box:
For this box I used the adorable 1921 paper from Maja design. I've painted the box with gesso first, both the inside and the outside. Then I've teared the edges on all papers with this distresser tool and given it a bit of color with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. I mostly use the color named Tea Dye, it's soft and fits about any project I do.
A little sneak peak from the inside of the box, here you can add tea bags. You can also use this type of box for jewlery if you want to do something different :)
Since im new in this design team, I still work with much materials from my private stock,
but I can guarantee that you will find loads of great materials to work with in the
I hope this gave you som inspiration, and if you want to see some more pictures and details, feel free to take peak in my private blog too ;)
With Love
