Vintage Angel

Hope you are all well and not too shopped out doing your christmas shopping.

The new Sagen vintage images are now available at Live and Love Crafts and I couldn't resist using one.  This young girl has a flute, just like me so of course I had to use her first.

The papers are by PionDesgin Flower Frames collection and I have used Anemone and Caeruleus, my favourtie colour blue.  The image is from the Sagen Christmas sheet, so beautiful.

I have placed the image onto the new Noor!Design frame from the latest release, isn't it just gorgeous. 

I have used Elixir lace along the bottom.

I have used 30mm rose, 10mm rose, flower spray, rose buds and  pine cones, a little gesso. The Dutch Doobadoo A5 Fern leaves have had shabby blue frantage added, don't they look fabulous.  Love frantage, as you all know.

I have added a musical note paperclip to fit the scene and tied some cinamon sticks with vax cord and added another fern leave with shabby blue frantage and a mini one with shabby white frantage.

I have used one of the new round pearl rhinestones to the centre of the Dutch Doobadoo frantaged paper art snowflake.

I have added two tags in the pocket and tied with vax cord and fnished with a little stocking boot charm, cute.

Vintage Sagen Christmas

Good morning everyone, how are you all? Yayyyy its Saturday, ya gotta love the weekends. Well not many more weeks left to christmas, are you ready?? I'm no where near :0(

Now Sandy has given us all free reign this week & next week on our DT projects & as I'm way behind on Christmas cards I thought it would be a good excuse to make more. Also I lurve making crimbo cards especially when we have gorgeous papers & super gorgeous images like the new Sagen ones Sandy has recently got in her store.

I ordered a load of yumminess from Sandy a few days ago & as soon as I saw this sheet of images I fell in love with this image. I lurve the hint of red in the image, it captured me straight away.

This image is from the Sagen Vintage Design 'Christmas' sheet, soooooo many beautiful images on it.

The ribbon is from my stash but all gorgeous ribbon needs some gorgeous bling to go with it, so I added one of Sandy's Pearl & Rhinestone buttons & hung a charm from it as well.

The little sentiment I cut from Maja Design 'A Gift For You - Die Cut sheet'. The bulldog clip is from my stash & I added some 'Snowtex' to it.

Of course I had to add a 'Whitewash Cinnamon Stick', I lurve these sticks, I think they add that perfect finishing touch to a christmas card..........they smell sooooooooo yummy!!

This is the inside, I've made a pocket at the bottom to hold the tags, the tags I added Eyelets & added Vax Cord to them. The top part of the card I cut out the centre bit from the 'Die-Cut Sheet' so I could write a nice verse on it. I attached it by using Photo Corners so it can be removed & kept as a little keepsake.

I have used gorgeous papers from Maja Design's 'A Gift To You', I have to say I lurve this paper, the colours are absolutely gorgeous..........I had a hard job which ones to use for this card lol. Of course as always I machine stitched all the layers on my machine, I also inked the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink.

I have also added a pin to the corner by the flowers but its hard to see in the pic :0(

I hope you like my card today, I made for a member of my family ssshhh can't tell you who incase they see ;0) I hope they like it though.

Christmas angel

During the last years I have made many Christmas cards with the image of this little, cute angel.

Today I have used the angel image on a Christmas card with Maja Design papers. I have used 2 different papers from the new collection "A gift for you". The front page of the card is also decorated with cheese cloth, trims, bark stars and a Christmas tree charm. The text is from one of the Maja papers.
