And it's Goodbye from me....

Good morning everyone,

It's a very sad day as this is my last post for Live and Love Crafts.  With opening my own online store just over 18 months ago and still working full time and I don't have the time to commit to a certain day's posting.

A huge thankyou to you all for all the comments on here, my blog and personal messages on my work.  I'm still on the Pion Design Team so you will still see me using Pion Design papers in blogland :)

Another huge thank you to Sandy, for giving me the opportunity to join such a fabulous design team and represent LLC, I have enjoyed every moment.

Onto my card. I'm sharing a card made with Pion Design's Scent of Lavender collection.  I used the Pion Palette Purple V for the base.

On the right hand side I have added flowers to the centre of the prima clock face and added a little gesso.

I kept the inside quite plain.  I love love love the bird so I made him centre stage.

Each panel was edged with pearl string.

Through The Window

Morning,

Today I'm sharing a card made with Pion Design Scent of Lavender collection, goodness it is so beautiful, I love the purples/lilacs/grey tones.

I used the Pion Palette Grey I for the base and the diecut window.  The floral paper is flowers of provence.  

A peek at the inside. Again I have used the Pion Palette Grey I and used Flowers of provence and Preserving the scent on the left hand side.

I have added a butterfly cut from the matching Borders sheeet.

The flowers include poppy, beaded berries, 10mm open roses, carnation and 30mm rose.  I added vintage flourish leaves cut with the Pion Palette Green III.

I trailed Ivy down the right hand side and added lillies, hortesania, 10mm roses.

The card was edged with double row pearl trim.

Hello Everyone,

I have another card made using the new Pion Design Scent of Lavender collection. I  have used the 12x12 sheet called "In Provence".

Isn't the bird just beautiful.  I cut the panel from the Scent and Lavender image sheet, edged with a little distress ink and tucked a little cheesecloth underneath.  The sentiment "For You" was cut from the Borders sheet, as were the little butterflies.

I added flowers to compliment the paper using lots of lillies..

Behind the floral arrangement is a Melissa Frances doily.

There is some lace just peeking through.
