Wedding Book Card

Hi Everyone,
It's Sandy here to post Tina's take on this week's theme "frantage".
Sorry this post is so late; it's been another busy day today.

Frantage...it feel like it has been around forever, but I just double-checked and it was March last year that I placed my first order for the gorgeous shimmering powder that we now all love so much!
It had of course been available for quite some time prior to this, but I think the LLC DT is partly responsible for the frantage explosion that came about last Spring. :-) They used it on almost every single card/project, and then of course there was Tracy's awesome frantage tutorial.

Anywho; for today Tina has created one of her famous book cards:
The gorgeous backing paper is from Pion Design's Alma's Sewing Room collection.
And there's lovely frantage shimmer everywhere!

This is the most popular colour, Shabby White, but at the store you'll find in total eleven different colours.

Here's a side view:

Impressive lace page, don't you think?!
As always, links to all the products can be found below.

Thanks for looking.
Hugs from Tina & Sandy

Frantage

Morning,

And here we are again...... Monday.  Less than 3 weeks to my holiday, eeekkkkk, and I have a long list of to do's.........lol.

OK, so it's Monday and a new week at LLC and a new theme, ummm I've forgotten it, lol.  Oh yeah I know, I know, it's that fabulous embossing stuff....."FRANTAGE".  Speaking of which, if your new to this term and please check out the video HERE and you will be amazed at it's many uses and also many colours to choose from.

Soooo, here's my card and I have used a Saturated Canary image called Emma and a selection of Maya Design papers; Frost Basics 4th December, (not just for Christmas), and Vintage Autumn Basics III and V.  Of course the image has some frantage round the edges, I have used the Chunky Whtie.

I have used the new Melissa Frances lace doily to the top left and the heart shape doily to the right.  The lace through the centre is called  Fleurie.

I have used the large Chrysanthemum and added a 10mm two tone rose to the centre.  I have also added a 30mm wild rose, 20, 15 and 10 and mm open roses, Kort and Godt curly roses in pink and some foam flower sprays and finished with some hip roses.

I have also added a prima zip pull with the word BEAUTY on.

The butterfly is from the Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet, but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that anymore, lol.  I have added an ornate brad to the centre and some gesso on the edges.

Just under the butterfly is one of the new prima resin pieces from the Key to my heart set.

I have added some shabby ruffle trim to the bottom of the card.

Here's the card with the tag pulled out and you will see that I added the smallest butterfly to the corner of the Noor Design Tag.

Here's a better view of the wording by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps with the gorgeous and famous Shabby Vintage Seam Binding by Sandy :)

Oh, oh, oh, I nearly forget the little charm handing from the tag, she is called "Best Friends".

Have a good week everyone.

Hugs Tracy x

You didn't think....

...that I would let you leave without making any remarks about your 2 years on the team, did you Elin?

This video tells the story of how it all started and what kind of a person Elin is....
(and it also shows the camera shy me hiding behind a box LOL)

...and in this video you get to see most of Elin's projects for LLC...
So please sit back, enjoy and get inspired!

It's fine to watch this video in small format here on the blog, but if you would like to see the cards and projects larger, please watch the video HERE instead as the resolution is much better than here on the blog.

Hope you enjoyed!
Thanks so much for tuning in and remember to stop by and sign up to become a follower of Elin's blog...if you aren't already!

Challenge #24 Summer Garden

Hi there and thanks for stopping by the LLC blog today.
We had a great turnout for last month's challenge, Tinchy's Inspiration Collage.
Apparently many of you share the love of pink with Tinchy... :-)
Thanks so much for taking part everyone.
So many gorgeous entries; it's going to be very difficult for the DT to choose their favourites, that's for sure!

As per usual procedure I've used random.org to draw the winner:

No. 65 is Randi who submitted this stunning tag:
Congrats Randi; please contact me, Sandy, to claim your prize:

The time we've got a nice and easy theme for you: SUMMER GARDEN

Since the last challenge a lot has happened; a new brand has arrived at the store (more about this later in this post) and we've got two new design team members; Diana and Vicky. Diana is currently on holiday, so her first post for LLC will be in a couple of week's time, but Vicky is with this challenge making her début:

Thank you girls; as always your inspiration is second to none!

Above I mentioned briefly that there's now a new brand available at the store:

Stempelglede is a Norwegian rubberstamp company, whose beautiful stamps are perfect for all vintage scrapping and cardmakers. If you haven't seen these stamps before, I urge you to stop by the store and check them out. Be quick though; they are going fast! :-)

I'm very honoured and proud to announce that for this challenge, joining us as a guest designer, is one of Stempelglede's own Design Team Members.
It's the talented Jane of Jane's Lovely Cards; welcome Jane! So glad you could join us!

If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope that my favourite season
is well underway for you. I'd like to wish you all a wonderful Summer!!!
I hope you'll get to enjoy some time off with friends and family, and that the weather will be cooperative so that you can spend quality time outside in the garden, or wherever you fancy.
Make the most out of it, and save your crafting for the rainy days!
