Two from Tina & -Merry Monday- NEWS

Good Morning Everyone,
Sandy here, doing Tina's Weekly Inspirational Post.

This week we'll be showcasing Christmas Projects made with Pion Design's new gorgeous Christmas Collection "Silent Night", available in both 6x6 and 12x12.

...and this is Tina's stunning card:
This time Tina went with a frill free layout, and frankly I don't blame here; these papers are so beautiful that you don't really want to cover them up with too many embellishments or layers.
The paper Tina used here is Guardian Angels 6x6 and the image is from the Collage Sheet 12x12.
Tina also used some Cheese Cloth and a Prima Barley Fabric Flower.

You might recall from last week's post that Tina usually combines her weekly LLC Project with her DT Project for the Everybody Art Challenge. However, when the two have very different themes we're lucky enough to see two different projects from Tina. :-)

The second project is this beautifully decorated box of matches.
Also here the paper used is from Guardian Angels 6x6.

Other materials used:
Poppies
Chrysanthemum, Kort og Godt
Autumn Leaves "Splendor", Prima
Tea Party Doily

What a great Autumn project, isn't it?!
The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are declining, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere, but this is a great time to get cozy at home and do some crafting!
There are loads of new products available at the Store, amongst those these Metal Corners in antique silver, brass and cupper finish.
These vintage metal ornaments are also some of the new additions:
And there are loads of new wooden embellishments from Prima:
Tickets, Clocks, Doors, Buttons, Envelopes, Typewriters...

Last week I didn't do a Merry Monday as the number of participants the previous week was very low, but I thought I'd give it another shot this week. If you would like to win the below set "Craftsman" of tickets and clocks from Prima, please enter the Merry Monday Draw on the LLC Facebook Page.

Please note that the draw is in a separate tab in the form of an application:
Good Luck - the draw closes this Thursday evening 8 PM GMT.

Hugz,
Tina & Sandy

Fall is in the air...Merry Monday!

Good Evening Everyone,
It's Sandy here. I've spent most of the day getting my head around how to install and configure a third party sweepstake application on Facebook, but now it's in place!!!
You'll find it as a separate tab underneath the Cover Photo:

The draw closes Thursday evening at 8PM GMT. Please make sure you read the sweepstakes rules before entering. The prize this week is a set of these gorgeous Autumn Leaves from Prima.

...and yesterday I had a little play session with them:

As you might recall, last week's theme here at the Inspiration Blog was Hunting & Picking Berries/Mushrooms. I don't know about you, but personally I was blown away by the DT members' creativity and the versatility of the projects showcased. To quickly recap, on Tuesday we had Tina's lovely vintage tag, on Wednesday Becky's  beautiful gingham Tilda card, on Thursday Elin's hunter layout, on Friday Karita's shabby songbird card and on Saturday Elizabeth's gorgeous gift box.

As there had been several projects with berries, I thought I'd go down the mushroom route, and to my surprise I actually had quite a few stamps with mushrooms in my stash. :-) I chose to ink up the sweet "Aurora on mushroom" by SCACD. Coloured with Copics; to achieve that shiny surface, I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the mushrooms.

Obviously, with last week's delivery of the new Landstoken papers, I had the ideal sheet to use; "Magic Mushrooms". I combined it with Ridderholm Design's "Friends" from the Huntington Garden Collection, which has plenty of beautiful papers in Autumn hues. Behind the image I also placed some jute fabric.

The big mushies I cut from the paper and placed on 3D foam pillows. I also took the chance to use some of the new sweet Poppies. Apart from these red ones, they're also available in pink and white. The large orange-apricot flower in the top right corner placed over the leaves is from Prima's "Kennedy Antique" Flower set.
The metal corners I hope to have added to the store by EOB tomorrow at the latest.

The red berries are from my stash, but I now have these cream coloured berries from Kort og Godt in stock. Stock is limited though, so if you want to get your hands on those, you better hurry up!

That's it from me tonight. Please stop by tomorrow when we start with a new theme here at the Inspiration Blog.

Hugz,
Sandy

Top 3 August & MM Winner

Good Evening Lovely Followers,
Sandy here again to announce the Top 3 from the August Challenge - Elizabeth's sketch.
Thanks everyone who participated. It was extremely difficult for the LLC DT Members to make a decision as there were so many gorgeous entries, but the ones who came out on top this time were these talented ladies:

Congratulations Heidi, Franz and Minna!!!
Please click on the images to get taken directly to the these beautiful cards; I can promise it'll be worth your time!  :-)

Unfortunately, I did not hear back from last week's Merry Monday Winner, so I have drawn a new winner using Random.org (couldn't for the sake of my life figure out how to do a redraw using Inlinkz :-))
Congrats Mel Fletcher; please contact me by noon Thursday this week to claim your prize:
Prima Vintage Trinkets "Romance Novel"

Sorry folks; no Merry Monday this week; with new products arriving last week and more on their way in this week, I haven't had the time to look at different Facebook applications for sweepstakes.
Hopefully next week again!

Hugz,
Sandy

Uhmm....Recycle what???

Hi Everyone,
Sorry if you were expecting a post from Karita. It's Sandy here. Friday is the day Karita posts her weekly inspirational project, but as she at the moment is snowed under with her work for the next Magnolia Ink Issue, I convinced her to take this week off.

That did imply though that I had to come up with a recycling project myself...You see I had it all figured out.. Since I usually post on Saturdays myself, and tomorrow is Saturday and the 1st of the month when our new challenge goes live, I was counting on not having to make a recycling project... Hehe; that didn't quite work out for me, did it? :-)

It's not that I'm not a friend of the environment, I am, but when it comes to recycling & crafting...well I find that a bit difficult. There are simply too many NEW beautiful products I like to use.

As Tina and Becky had already used corrugated cardboard in their recycling projects, and that was my only idea I was a bit stumped. I was standing in the kitchen, looking around what I could possibly use when hubby came around. I asked him and he pointed to the nectarines standing on the kitchen counter.

Yeah so there they were in all their glory in a plastic tray with an ugly red plastic ribbon...Great...NOT!!!
...but wait...what about the net???

So this is what I used for:

I shaped it like a flower; it worked out great as the net was elastic, and added some Maya Road Tulle Trim behind it, a few roses, some lace and Pearl String. If you're wondering what that white stuff that looks a bit like frost in the net is, it's Snow-Tex. :-)

You might recall that last week our theme here on the blog was "Christmas with Summer papers". As I already then had had the FabScraps Christmas papers delivered, I was very tempted to use them instead...but that would have been cheating, so I did stick with the theme. This week I finally got to have a play with them though. :-) This is the beautiful sheet "Little Children".

Here's a close up of some of the details:
In the large picture, you can better see the effect of the Snow-Tex on paper, and I also used one of the new Christmas charms, Santa's Sled. To decorate I used some red berries from my stash, the Jute Fabric and Baker's Twine. The sentiment is from LOTV and also for this one, I used the fruit net, together with some Jute Fabric and Cheese Cloth.

That's all from me for today; hope to see you tomorrow, when our September challenge kicks off!

Oh...one more thing...yesterday I was busy entering the new Pion Design papers " Silent Night"  onto the system (YES I have both the 12" and 6" complete collection in stock and available for ordering), so I didn't get around to announcing the Merry Monday Winner.
A winner has been drawn though and that lucky person is....

Sanne from "Sannekreativ". Congratulations!
Please contact me by noon Sunday with your address, so I can send you the Prima Vintage Trinkets.

Hugz,
Sandy

Merry Monday #3 & a Customer Project

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here. If you're in the UK, I hope you're enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend though the weather is not exactly what we had hoped for... On the other hand; it's great for crafting and doing some blog hopping. :-D I try to get around as much as I can visiting my customers' blogs as I really enjoy seeing what you make with the products you buy from Live & Love Crafts. So far you've also been very helpful sending me e-mails with links to your projects, so thank you!!!

Today I'd like to share with you a card made by one Live & Love Crafts' customers, Daniele Haddon. This is Daniele's DT card for Sugar Creek Hollow, a great challenge blog I can warmly recommend if you enjoy making vintage, shabby chic and/or primitive inspired projects.

Daniele used one of the beautiful sheets from Pion Design's "Rose & Ocean of Roses" from the Studio of Memories collection. The shabby seam binding is the popular colour Ash Rose, which was combined with a piece of Pearl String. The image is from a Day for Daisies.
Please take a moment to visit Daniele's blog, The Musings of a Chocoholic; she makes gorgeous vintage cards!

If you've visited the Live & Love Crafts' Store lately, you've probably noticed that loads of new products have been added (and there are more on their way...:-)), amongst those several embellishments such as vintage trinkets & flowers from Prima.

As you all know, Live & Love Crafts is specializing in vintage and shabby chic craft supplies, and my goal is to bring you the best products and brands available together under one roof so to speak. Maya Road and Melissa Frances have been part of the portfolio since opening, but I felt that one piece of the puzzle was missing, and that piece, Prima, has now been added. :-)

This week's Merry Monday prize are these beautiful vintage trinkets from Prima.
This set is called "Romance Novel".
Please enter your details in Inlinkz below and remember you need to be a follower of this blog in order to be eligiable for the prize.

Before I leave you, just a quick reminder that the Bank Holiday Weekend Offer ends today at midnight.

Happy Crafting!
Hugz, Sandy

Merry Monday #2

Good Evening,
Sandy here again with some news.

They're here and they're fab...
Now in stock: Christmas Papers from FabScraps!!!

Victorian Angel

Stars & Sparkle
Little Children

Also in stock; Snow-Tex, Diamond Dust and Liquid Applique.

Three great Christmas products that are used by crafters worldwide year after year.
Nevertheless; it's so difficult to find them all in one place. Personally I've never managed and it's been driving me mad for years, so I thought it was about time to change that. :-)

Quite a few more Christmas products have also arrived; I'll get to work now and hope to have had them all entered by noon tomorrow.

Unfortunately; I've still not heard from last week's Merry Monday Winner.
Please contact me by noon Thursday this week at the latest; otherwise I'll have to draw another winner.

As I was gone for four days last week I didn't get a chance to look into what 3rd party application can be used for candy sweepstakes on Facebook, so this week's candy will take place here on the blog instead. Feel free to let your friends know!

This is this week's prize:

5 yards of Maya Road's brand new sparkle silver twine cording

New Stock just in...

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here. Hope you're all well; I returned late last night and my feet still hurt from walking km after km in the exhibition halls, but it was great fun and I found many nice products that will be added to the store over the coming weeks. For now though, I wanted to let you know that there are already Halloween and Christmas Charms available at Live & Love Crafts. Here are some of them:
You can find them in the New Products section.
To make things easier to find, I've also created two new categories; Christmas & Halloween/Autumn, and I'll keep on adding new products to these when I have them in stock.

Apologies; there won't be a Merry Monday today as I'm expecting another delivery tomorrow with some products I wanted to include in the Merry Monday Prize.

See you tomorrow!
 Hugz, Sandy

P.S. Last week's Merry Monday Winner has not yet been in touch; should I not have heard from the winner by Wednesday, I'll draw a new Winner.
