Gesso & Fran-tage

It's time to play! Well... to be honest, we do a lot of playing here ;)
But this week I got told to think "Paint" when I was going to create something inspiring.
It might not come as a surprise that most of us girls have been using Gesso for these projects, and so did I! I added a touch of fran-tage too, even though I don't think it qualifies as paint;

I have used lovely papers from Pion Design and Maja Design. The picture is from the 12 x 12 Images paper from Alma's. I have used a 1 inch circle to punch out the rose, where I added a pebble and made it the center of my frame. The frame is also painted with gesso ;)
I added a few pearls to spice up my decoration, as it's my main focus instead of lots of flowers.
The sentiment says: Made with love, specially for you. It was printed on my computer.
Wishing you all a great weekend and thank you for stopping by :O)

  4. Thank you everyone! Jasmina: Gesso can be used everywhere and on everything! Its just white paint that you can ad to things you want to give a more "shabby" look, or if you don't like the color of your flowers, papers, ribbons and so on.. gesso can be used to tone things down, or to make them pop out! Give it a try and you will find it easy ;) Just get yourself a jar of gesso and a small painting brush (if thats how you say it in english?) Good luck :O)
