Advent Calendar Window #7

Good Morning Dear LLC Friends! :)
It´s Karita here with you today and it´s time to open window #7 of our LLC Advent Calendar.
So let´s take a look at today´s candy...
*

*
Today´s candy consists of all 4 colours of the jute twine (x3 metres), 1 metre jute fabric and 1 metre of each jute ribbon in the Italian Christmas colours; red, green and white. :-).

I, myself, love to use jute ribbon as much as possible, especially the white one. It´s a nice change from lace and gives my cards a distinctive vintage look. And I think jute is the perfect product for old fashioned Christmas cards :)

For your chance of winning, please do the following:
1) Become a follower of this blog if you're not already
2) Post our Advent Blinkie in your Blog Sidebar. The html code can be found here.
3) Leave a comment on the blog post with your thoughts on the project.

And here´s my card, where I´ve used the White Jute Ribbon:
I made a Christmas card and used the Winter 12x12 paper from Pion Design´s Silent Night collection.
I´ve inked all the edges with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain and used my sewing machine.
The image is also from Pion Design and under the image is a small piece of corrugated cardboard, which  I painted a bit with Tim Holtz Ditress Crackle Paint - Picket Fence.
The white snowflakes are made with a Martha Stewart punch and the white pearls in the middle are from Melissa Frances.
And here´s a close up of the white Jute Ribbon. It gives it a a nice shabby/vintage look, don´t you think :)
I`ve also used Snowflake Trim and "Antique Belle" lace.

Okay, I think that´s all from me for now :)
Thank you for being here with me today and I hope you´ll join our Advent Calendar :)
Hugs, Karita

WINNER WINDOW #5
I've drawn a random winner from the comments on DT Member Becky's card, and though Becky understands German I thought I'd translate the comment into English for those of you who don't.

"What a wonderful card. The image is so cute and beautifully, very beautifully coloured. The decorations are a dream. With Love, Elfi"

Congratulations Elfi; I'll post the stamp out to you today!
