A very good Saturday morning to you all,
Sandy here, posting my Angel project. As soon as we had decided to go with the angels theme for this week, I knew that I wanted to use one of the angel images from Pion Design's Collage. It was just a bit difficult to decide which ones as they're all so beautiful...but finally my choice fell upon this one:
Sandy here, posting my Angel project. As soon as we had decided to go with the angels theme for this week, I knew that I wanted to use one of the angel images from Pion Design's Collage. It was just a bit difficult to decide which ones as they're all so beautiful...but finally my choice fell upon this one:
...and this is what my card looks like:
The layers are made up of papers from three different Swedish suppliers: the bottom layer is from Pion Design's Nativity Scene 6×6, the piece with the beautiful old fashioned text is from Inkido's Forever Santa 6×6 No. 4, and lastly as I couldn't keep my hands off the new Coffee Collection from Maja Design I cut out a piece from Havrerutor (Oat Cookies). All edges were distressed with "Tea Dye", using the Inkssential Ink Blending Tool.

As the image together with the frame (Spellbinder's Floral Oval Die) is quite large, I kept the decos to a minimum this time. Just a few feathers and an old piece of lace from stash, some Melissa Frances Pearls, and three Rolled Roses from Kort og Godt on top of Cheese Cloth.
This is also my DT card for the Sketchy Challenges and this challenge is sponsored by LLC.
For your chance of winning a £10 Store Voucher, please pop over to the Sketchy Challenges Blog, check out the great sketch by Kathrin and then get creating!
Maybe you could even combine the sketch with LLC's October challenge; Autumnal colours/and or Halloween?!
