Prima- triple card

Good morning LLC lovers,
Elizabeth here, hope you are having a good week. As you know, we are showcasing Prima- products this week here at the LLC blog, and I had lots of fun with the gorgeous embellishments making this card.

I made what I've named a "triple- card" which in this case means that my card has three pages.
I used papers from Maja Design; "the East Coast" from the Life by the Sea Collection;
The gorgeous Embellishments I used are all from Prima but the small roses. I made a list with links to the Live & Love Crafts Store at the bottom of the post.

The card has three layers with a hole in the front to show the stamp.

Here is the second page of the card, I masked one of my Magnolia Tilda's with the Swing background stamp.
The image is coloured with Copic Markers.

Here's the last page of the card. I played around with the scraps of the beautiful papers, and added some more embellishments.

I used:
Prima Art Tiles "Romantique"
Prima Fabric Flowers "Manette"
Prima Parchent Petals "Vintage"
Prima Vintage Trinklets
Prima Wood Buttons "Fairy Belle"
Prima wood clocks and tickets "Thea thyme"
Prima wood doors "no 8"
Prima Wood Tickets "Songbird"

Hope you like it!

Stay tuned for a brand new LLC challenge tomorrow,
it's the first of the month!

Hugs,
Elizabeth

Adorable Prima on LO

Surprised to see me, Elin, on a Monday?
Well, here I am, and I got something cute to show you: my two little girls on a LO with Prima products which makes it (if possible) even more adorable:
I did my LO on the 12x12 "Pink Butterfly" paper from Pion Design's Studio of Memories Collection, and added some Gesso on it to "mess it up" a bit. The tags are left over pieces from Maja Design. Behind the picture, I used some wavy white card board and on the picture are my two wonderful girls.
I'm not a big fan of loads of flowers on my LO's, so this sweet Fabric Flower "Manette" from Prima did it for me. It was a bit too white for me though, so I dyed it with some ink and added some Prima Snow Drops behind it to get it a bit larger :)
I used a heart button from Primas Wooden Buttons set "Fairy Belle". These buttons have really grown on me, cause I normally don't use buttons on my projects. But wood does wonders!
I also used my favorite lace in the LLC store: "Camille" . I combined it with some milk coloured Tulle Pleat Trim to get some movement and hight to my project:

I hope you found some inspiration in my girly-girly LO, and as always, most of the materials I've used are available at the Live and Love Crafts store.

With love,

Christmas Angel

God morning everyone, Elizabeth here, showing you the last card of our Angel week here at the Live and Love craft blog.

I used papers from the lovely Pion design; Guardian Angel 6x6. I added some light blue Jute Ribbon and the gorgeous Vintage Scallop Lace Trim. I colored the Magnolia stamp with Distress Ink Pads. The pearls are Melissa Frances white pearls and I added i piece of cheese cloth behind the image.

The beautiful Shabby Seam Binding is now in restock at the LLC Store, I use the sky blue one here. I also used a Vintage Pearl Brad from Creative Charms and a silver Jingle bell- perfect for any Christmas project.

The big flower is put together with Doily Flower dies- Magnolia doohickey's. I used distress ink to color some of them to mach my blue card, and I stamped with snowflakes on the big one. I also attached a little piece of pearl string and a Vintage Trinklet Heart Pin.

Hope you liked it!
Stay tuned for more inspiration next week.

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs,
Elizabeth

Trio of Papers

A very good Saturday morning to you all,
Sandy here, posting my Angel project. As soon as we had decided to go with the angels theme for this week, I knew that I wanted to use one of the angel images from Pion Design's Collage. It was just a bit difficult to decide which ones as they're all so beautiful...but finally my choice fell upon this one:

...and this is what my card looks like:

The layers are made up of papers from three different Swedish suppliers: the bottom layer is from Pion Design's Nativity Scene 6×6, the piece with the beautiful old fashioned text is from Inkido's Forever Santa 6×6 No. 4, and lastly as I couldn't keep my hands off the new Coffee Collection from Maja Design I cut out a piece from Havrerutor (Oat Cookies). All edges were distressed with "Tea Dye", using the  Inkssential Ink Blending Tool.

As the image together with the frame (Spellbinder's Floral Oval Die) is quite large, I kept the decos to a minimum this time. Just a few feathers and an old piece of lace from stash, some Melissa Frances Pearls, and three Rolled Roses from Kort og Godt on top of Cheese Cloth.

This is also my DT card for the Sketchy Challenges and this challenge is sponsored by LLC.

For your chance of winning a £10 Store Voucher, please pop over to the Sketchy Challenges Blog, check out the great sketch by Kathrin and then get creating!

Maybe you could even combine the sketch with LLC's October challenge; Autumnal colours/and or Halloween?!
Have a crafty weekend everyone!

Sandy

Angels Delight

This week we Live and Love Crafts girls got a theme that could not be more perfect for me:

ANGELS!!!

Yes, I am an angels girl; I love them in every shape, every colour and every size.
I have been playing with this wonderful and genius paper from Inkido:

These pictures are easy to fall in love with, so it's sometimes hard to make a project who does them justice! This time I made a calendar for the new year to come: 2013.

I used a cardboard as background and used my Vintage Photo Distress Ink Pad on the edges.
The paper is from Pion Design's "For Mother" collection; Blue Pansy
It's ON SALE now if you want to try it yourself ;)
The picture is from the paper above and behind the picture I added a piece of white wave chalkboard. And as alway, I had to play around with some stamps. I used Shabby Seam Binding to make a bow tie and to make it possible to hang the calendar on the wall.

Thank you for stopping by our blog, and don't miss out on the chance to win £25 Store Voucher in our October Challenge :)

Angels

Hi everyone, Becky here today continuing our Angel week here at Live and Love Crafts.

I've coloured Little Tilda in with distress markers and pads, for her dress I've used Evergreen Bough from the Winter Seasonal Distress Inks. The papers are Victorian Angels from Fab Scraps, I couldn't cover up that gorgeous Angel on the DP. I've covered Tilda's wings with Crystal Glamour Dust, I love how that sparkles.

I've used two flowers of the Dark Chocolate Primrose Organza Trim, and also some of the Oyster Cream Rhinestone Lace behind Tilda.

The roses are from my stash, and the holly has been cut out of some gorgeous gold card I've had an age using a Tim Holtz die. There's also a Prima Fabric Flower, a Chrysanthemum, a Rolled Rose and I've pulled apart a Kort and Godt Berries Decoration. There are also two Berries Pins.

There's still a week left for our Halloween/Autumn colours challenge here.

Hugs,

Becky x

Heaven Sent

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here doing the weekly post on behalf of DT Member Tina.
This week we've got a new great theme; angels.
A perfect theme for Christmas or actually all year around; I'm sure we all have angels in our lives who deserve to be acknowledged.
Tina used one of the beautiful images from Inkido's Vintage Angels' Sheet.
...and this is Tina's amazing Christmas Card:
The DPs are Pion Design's "Rose & Ocean of Roses" from the Studio of Memories Collection 6x6.
For decoration Tina used some Kort og Godt Chrysantemum flowers, JuteTwine, Cheese Cloth, a Vintage Pearl Brad, and the gorgeous angel wings is the resin embellishment "Heaven Sent" from Melissa Frances.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Hope to see you again tomorrow!

Teal Christmas

Hello and Happy Saturday!
Sandy here to share some INKIDO inspiration with you.
But before I get on with that, I thought I'd show you some of new products that have recently been added to the store.
Available in two colours; antique crem & light antique mauve.

New are also these Miniature Sewing Spools in wood, from Maya Road:
They're only about 0.5cm tall and so cute!!! Available in a 5/10 pack.

From Maya Road are also these charming rustic Vintage Linen Burlap Roses:

Then there's a few new charms, and in particular I would like to highlight this one:
As you all recognize, this is the Pink Ribbon - the international symbol for breast cancer awareness.
I've priced this one at £1.20 and will be donating £1 for each charm sold to Breast Cancer Care UK (the 20p I'm keeping is only for paying the VAT to HMRC). I only have about 75 charms in stock, but as a famous food chain here in the UK puts it "Every Little Helps".
I hope you'll support me in supporting Breast Cancer Care UK, a charity organization that provides information and support for women affected by breast cancer.

Some news on the restocking front:
The popular Poppies in red that sold out very quickly will be back in stock next week.

I'll be a busy bee this weekend dying and crinkling ribbon...
LLC's Shabby Seam Binding is back in stock again!!!

A new colour, "Winter White" has been added to the nine existing ones.

...and this finally brings me to my card (thanks for bearing with me! :-))
Yup; I made a flower with the "Winter White" Seam Binding. The button in the middle is from Maya Road's Lustrous Set of Vintage Buttons. I thought it'd go well with the cream coloured Rhinestones Lace which I attached at the bottom of the image.
The gorgeous image is from the sheet Santa's Christmas, and the paper used is Forever Santa 6x6 No. 4.
I created some layers using Jute Fabric and White Jute Ribbon. The flower display in the upper left corner consists of a Magnolia Shabby Chic Tulle Rose and Turquoise Vintage Orchids as well as some Decoration Berries from Kort og Godt.

As you can see, I used Snow-Tex, on the flowers, on the Jingle Bells and also on the Jute String that I attached the small Postage Stamps on. They are from Whimsy Stamps and were stamped with Walnut Stain and distressed with Tea Dye.

I think that was it. Time for me to get back to crinkling... :-)
Have a good Saturday!

Hugz,
Sandy
