Top Picks from the April Challenge

Hi everyone,
As you might have noticed the DT are having a bit of a Summer break so that's why we're only posting every 2nd-3rd day here on the blog and on the weekends. Inbetween I'm trying to catch up with the Top Pick announcements. :-)

Back in April our challenge was to create something with this photo inspiration collage in mind:

And the Top Picks are:

Suso

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!

Me again with a new little project using a Mo Manning lovely image and some gorgeous LLC goodies!

Here is the pretty fairy I used today as protagonist of my card:

She is Suso and I loved her at first sight!
Colouring her and her big "home" has been so fun!

Here is the shabby card I created for her:

...some lovely laces and several Wild Orchid Craft gorgeous flowers...

Me and You

Hello, everyone! It's Karen with you today, sharing a lovey-dovey celebration of a sweet marriage. My card features gorgeous papers from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics and Vintage Romance. ♥︎
With Sandy's extensive selection of Wycinanka chippies, there is always a perfect piece to either create a theme or accent it. I have combined two darling chippies for my focal point: Doves 2 frame and Summer Wedding border. ♥︎
The frame is covered in crackle paint, while the fluttery border sparkles in Shabby Pink Frantage. On the left I layered both beautiful shades of Amabelle lace, as I couldn't resist a pop of sweet pink. The sentiment (from Vintage Romance) is trimmed with Fayette lace for softness.
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a lovely weekend. ♥︎

Hugs and blessings,
Karen ♥︎
