Tracy here starting off a new week and new theme. This week Sandy has set the theme as "Mardi Gras". This screams carnivals and I have to say I was a little stuck at first as what to do, as I'm not a bright and colourful girl, lol. So Mardi Gras and carnivals are about dressing up...... right? I thought this image would be perfect so this is my take on the theme.
The shape of the card was made using the Dutch Doobadoo Stand Up stencil and the beautiful paper and butterflies are the new Easter Greetings collection by Pion Design. I made the base using the Pion Design White I, on of my favourtie from the Pion Pallette.
All the diecuts were made using the Pion White I
I have added a few of my favourite Pion Design butterflies from the Easter Greetings Border sheet.
I used the Dutch Doobadoo pearl pen around the edge of the image and a few clusters dotted onto the image.
I used double row pearls on the two outer panels.
I have used lace on the top edges all the way round, but it isn't showing up too well in the photographs.
