Winter Birthday

Hello, crafty friends! It's Karen here with a card using some beautiful papers from Maja Design's Home for the Holidays and Vintage Frost Basics.
A dear loved one has a winter birthday and this versatile collection is perfect for such an occasion. The tiny snowflake paper on the front is from Maja's 6x6 Winter Frost Basics, only because I don't yet own the Home for the Holidays 6x6 pad for a small-scale snowflake pattern. It's nice when paper collections work so wonderfully together.
My friend has a beautiful heart of gold, so a Prima Lace Heart resin piece serves as the focal point, which is covered in Shabby White Frantage. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are covered in Glamour Dust, while pretty trims ruffle throughout the design. The lace Juliette bow is centered with an exquisite Button Etoile.
Inside is one of the gorgeous snowflake designs for a flurry of birthday love. ♥︎ Thank you for visiting and I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Hugs and blessings,
Karen ♥︎

Polar Snow

Hi everyone! It's Alyce here and today I'm sharing my card using the new Maja Design Home for the Holidays papers! I lvoe the colour of these... they are so versatile that you don't have to use them purely for Christmas Cards! I've used Polar Snow by Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and coloured her up with Copics.

I love these beautiful new flowers in the store too! Have you seen them yet? The little ones on the left are beautiful charms that I've just popped over the burlap flowers aswell.

I hope you've liked my project! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Home For The Holidays

Morning everyone, Becky here with you today with my card with the gorgeous new papers from Maja Design, Home For The Holidays.

This is quickly becoming my favourite Christmas collection, I love the blues and browns in this collection. Have you seen the new Sisal fibres? I must admit I wasn't sure howto use it when I get it, but I love how it looks at the base of the flower arrangements.
Thanks for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Challenge #42 Sparkle!

Hello all crafters,
Well well well...the month is here!
Hope you're all ready for Christmas, or if not that you have it all under control and will manage whatever you had in mind prior to the big day. As you go about stressing with buying gifts for everyone, roasting the turkey, looking for the perfect tree, baking numerous Christmas cakes & cookies, and doing all the other things you have on your endless to-do list, please remember though that what's important is the time you're spending together with family & friends.

The other day I came across this video and I think it says it all about what really matters the most...

This video has gone viral over the last couple of days, so you might already have seen it, but even if, it's certainly worth watching again.

Many thanks to the crafters who took part in last month's Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe. The number of entries were lower than usual, so I suppose you thought it was a tricky one (or you've just been busy). For this month though we have a super simple theme for you. More about that in just a moment.

Now; let's check out who the lucky winner of the £25 Store Voucher is...

No 39, is Minna, who submitted this beautiful vintage Christmas/Winter card:

Congrats dear; please e-mail me, Sandy, to claim your prize.

Now; December is a very busy month for most of us, so that's why we've chosen an easy theme this month. You can thank DT Member Becky, who suggested....
 SPARKLE!!!

As long as you've got something that sparkles, glistens, shimmers, glitters, twinkles or shines on your project/card, you're good to go! :-)
Here's what the LLC DT came up with:

You see that wee Santa book up in the right corner?
That's a star book; look how amazing it folds out!

Hope you'll have fun with this challenge! You have almost until next year...this challenge closes 23:55 on New Year's Eve. :-)

Now there's only one thing that remains to be said....
From All of Us to All of You & Yours:
