Snowflake Lollipops

Hello everyone, Becky here with you my lollipop creation. You might be surprised to find that my decor at home is very, very plain, barely a pattern in sight, when Sandy set us this theme I decided I wanted to make something for my mantelpiece for Christmas. So here are my minimal shabby snowflake lollipops.

I actually ordered a snowflake rosette die, which typically didn't arrive in time, so these rosettes are made with my scorepal and snowflake dies and punches. After my initial intrepedation I actually really enjoyed making these, and I know I will be making more of these. I have had the vase for ages, it sits on the windowsill in the kitchen and when the kids pick me flowers they get popped in there.

As the colour of my living room is almost this green colour, so there was only one paper collection I could use, and that's Maja Designs Vintage Frost Basics.

Wintertime

Good eve,
Sandy here with Tina's take on the Lollipop theme.

Tina has used papers from Maja design's latest collection "Enjoying Outdoors"

Here a close up of the rosette, placed on a star straw with liberty bells tied on to it.
Flowers from Magnolia & Jort og Godt, combined with pomegranate apples.

Thanks for visiting.

Lollipop Cards

Good morning,

Sandy has set a theme this week for us LLC girls of "Lollipop Cards".  I have to say these were such fun to make.

I have used the Damsak straws in grey and all the papers are from Pion Design's Glistening Season.

I made two elegant style Lollipop Cards and one Vintage/Shabby Chic style

The base of my lollipop was made using the new Doily die and then layered with Pion Design Glistening Season Angels Choir 12x12 and finished with a poinsettia made using the Classic Poinsettia Die set and the Filigree Poinsettia Die set, both cut in white and a touch of elegance to the centre using a Button Etoile.

Isn't it pretty.  I added shabby seam binding, hemp cord and a tag cut from the 6x6 Winter Birds sheet and I made matching tassels using the new Marianne Design Tassel Die Set, luvvvv these.

I made a second Lollipop card, almost the same as the first but using Pion Design Glistening Season Peacefulness paper.

A close up of the tassels.  I also have the little caps in stock too :)

The tag is from the 6x6 By the River sheet.

Here's my yummy vintage one and done in the sepia/cream colours, love these colours.  The image is also by Pion Design from the Grandma's Attic.

I used Pion Design Glistening Season  By the River 12x12  and tucked beautiful lace underneath creating another layer before the beautiful doily base.

Finished with a floral arrangement, shabby seam binding, snowflake charm and another tag from the 6x6 sheet.

Hope you like my Lollipop cards.

Hugs Tracy x

Challenge #41 Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe

 Hi Crafters,
Time's flying; can you believe we have now turned page to November?!
It's time for a new LLC challenge and we obviously want to help you to get ready for Christmas. We've got a nice little Christmas challenge for you to play with, but before getting on with that, let's find out who the winner from last month's challenge was....

The theme of the October challenge, in line with LLC tradition was PINK.
Also this year there was a great turnout with lots of beautiful entries, many especially made with Pink Ribbon stamps, papers etc.  We've seen some wonderful encouraging cards. Thanks so much everyone who took part!
There can only be one winner though and that lucky person, who receives a £25 Voucher to spend at the LLC store is....
That's Stacey, who submitted this cute card;

Congratulations Stacey; please e-mail me (Sandy) to claim your prize.

This month we're playing Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe!

I'm sure you are all familiar with how it works; you pick a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row, and include those items on your card/project, or you can of course, like some of the LLC DT Member have done, go with a full house. Here's their stunning inspiration:

KAREN -  HEART, GLITTER, VINTAGE

DIANA
- FULL HOUSE

TINA
- HEART, GLITTER, VINTAGE

TRACY - FULL HOUSE

BECKY - GLITTER, SNOW, STAR

DEBBIE - STAR, SNOW, GLITTER

Have fun playing and please don't forget to tell us which row you've gone for in your blog post!
