The royal (Magnolia) family is back at Sofiero

Hi there LLC lovers!
Its Louise with you here today and this post is the very last one with the "Anything goes" theme.
So tomorrow Tracy will be back again and all is as usual again. I wont tell you anything about our theme for next week though, but I can say its super fun! I can be such a teaser. ;)
But first things first so let me tell you about my creation:

Ive chosen to work with an utterly lovely little Tilda princess and placed her in a window of a castle released early on. She is inked with Copics. Of course I just had to pair her up with my absolute fav paper collection. Its called Sofiero and is from Maja design. I decided I wanted to challenge myself a little by not using the sheets that are soooo obviously me and went for the also amazing but not that pink sheets. Ive used both front and backside of "Princess Margareta´s garden". For those unaware of what Sofiero is and why thats the name I can tell you a little about it cause it also explains the title I gave my post.

The summer of 1864 the swedish crown-prince couple named Oscar II and his wife Sofia spent a summer at a friends house in south the south of Sweden near the city of Helsingborg. The both loved it so much they started looking for properties they could buy. It was considered a good thing for them all as they were sick and they needed the fresh air. They soon found a property with a priesting on it called "Skrabelycke" and renamed it "Sophie-Ro". They lived a much more free life on their in their new castle but as they became king and queen of Sweden they moved back to Stockholm and the royal visits to the castle became more and more rare as time went by. The beautiful castle is still there and today its a beautiful park with amazing nature and beautiful plants. Year 2010 it was named the most beautiful park in Europe.

So this is why I wrote the royal family is back at Sofiero ;) Princess Tilda is royal indeed :) Don't you think? ;)

Ive also used another amazing LLC product that I want to mention. Ive always loved the flower sprays and now Sandy of LLC also decided to stock them in  my fav color - pink! OMGosh, I cannot tell you how lovely these are! Stunning! I have also used the amazing tulle :)

As always you can see the products Ive used listed at the end of my post, just click the picture and it will take you right there.

That was all from me today, I hope you liked my make :)
Lots of love

Tripping Flower Tilda

Hi everyone! It's Alyce here and today I am going to share with you a card for our DT theme of Anything Goes. I also thought I would tie it in with the brand new monthly challenge....for the challenge I did Cool Colours so for my card today I have chosen Warm Colours!

Here is my card using two Magnolia stamps merged together; Tripping Flower Tilda and Royal Wedding Fence.

I used a bunch of pretty laces on this one... and a few dashes of red to tie in with Tilda's Kimono. I didn't want the red to be too overpowering, so I toned it down by lightly dabbing some Gesso on.

I have coloured Tilda and my background up using copic markers; feel free to pop over to my blog for the colour list :)

The list of products I have used for my card are below. I hope you have enjoyed this little bit of inspiration from me today! Maybe I have inspired you to play with some of your Magnolia Background stamps? :) Thanks for stopping by! xx

"LOVE" Sofiero

This week at LLC Inspiration we had an "Anything Goes" theme so I found this "LOVE" box at Michaels and covered it with the new gorgeous papers "Sofiero".  Oh such soft and feminine papers that are soooo nice to work with!!  When I covered the "LOVE" layer I distressed it all with Momento Cocoa ink.

Side view - as you can see I added lace around the whole lid, layered up the side with a Magnolia Doohickey, a swirl die cut and handmade shabby flower covered with Frantage.

The bouquet is built using a Magnolia Shabby chic tuelle rose available at LLC, along with some Kort & Godt white flowers, rolled flowers and some pretty white sprays.  I even snuck in a vintage image from the "Bouquet" tinted images from Grandma's Attic.

I covered some Maya wings with some gesso and the Maya heart with "Shabby Pink" Frantage with a shabby chic seam binding double bow.

Here I took one of the clock clips and covered that with the "Shabby Pink" frantage as well.  Boy that stuff works well with metal!!  Those resin hearts from Melissa Frances are soooo pretty too!  Of course I added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers here and there and a sweet Prima cloth flower.

Gotta love those Kort & Godt chrysanthemums.  I just wish they came in more colors.

Well I hope you enjoyed my project and I wish you a great creative weekend!

Challenge #14 Warm or Cool Colours

 Hi Everyone,
welcome back to a new fun LLC Challenge!

Summer is on and this is the time when crafters tend to exchange their craft rooms for their gardens and the beach, so it's been kind of quiet in the crafting and blogging world lately, don't ya' think?!

Usually it picks up again in mid-August, and this is the perfect timing as right about this time or only a few weeks later, we'll start seeing new and exciting products hitting the store shelves. :-)
I have some very exciting news, that I can't tell you just yet, but in a couple of week's time I will, so keep your eyes and ears open!!! :-)
